Configuration and operating conditions

Cast iron or bronze; AISI 316L options identified for B sizes 200–600.

Specify the exact casting and internal materials. Include start-up viscosity, heating requirements and the selected drive speed.

• Identify gears, shafts, bushes and seals for gear pumps, or the liquid-end valves, piston seals and diaphragms for metering pumps, using the matching section drawing.
• Provide the serial number, complete construction code and fluid details before a repair set is specified. Optional gear treatments, heating or magnetic drives change the required parts.

• Use the complete nameplate designation, serial number and component item number to confirm the equipment revision and fit.
• Check the fluid, temperature, viscosity, required flow, pressure, suction conditions and connection standard for the actual application.
• Confirm all wetted materials, seals, diaphragms and other selected components against the operating conditions. A material name alone does not establish suitability.
• For replacement parts, include photographs of the old part, its assembly position and relevant dimensions.

Information for your quotation

Include the complete model or item number, quantity, equipment nameplate, required supply scope, delivery destination and timing. For a pump selection, add the operating conditions. For a repair, include the original part and assembly information.
