SELECTION AND SERVICE
Configuration and operating conditions
Cast iron, steel or stainless-steel variants; containment and bearing materials vary.
Specify the fluid, crystallisation risk and operating temperature. Confirm magnetic-coupling torque and internal circulation requirements for the selected viscosity.
Independent family limits. They are not simultaneous operating points and do not establish the rating of an individual pump size.
- Use the pump serial number, complete designation and assembly drawing to identify the shaft seal or packing, rotor, idler, bushes, gaskets and relief-valve components.
- Send the required component positions and the existing material codes with your enquiry. Kit numbers are confirmed against the pump build; a WILDEN Air Kit or Wet Kit does not apply to this gear-pump design.
- Use the complete nameplate designation, serial number and component item number to confirm the equipment revision and fit.
- Check the fluid, temperature, viscosity, required flow, pressure, suction conditions and connection standard for the actual application.
- Confirm all wetted materials, seals, diaphragms and other selected components against the operating conditions. A material name alone does not establish suitability.
- For replacement parts, include photographs of the old part, its assembly position and relevant dimensions.

Include the complete model or item number, quantity, equipment nameplate, required supply scope, delivery destination and timing. For a pump selection, add the operating conditions. For a repair, include the original part and assembly information.
