SELECTION AND SERVICE
Configuration and operating conditions
316 stainless-steel tube; selected Buna, FKM or PTFE stator and compatible seals.
Describe whether the product can flow into the inlet. Select the stator and drive for the viscosity, and review any food-contact documentation separately.
- Use the model, tube length, serial number and motor identification to specify the impeller or rotor, shaft, seals and other service components. HVDP assemblies also require the correct stator.
- Confirm whether the requested supply includes tube, motor, hose, nozzle and connections. These components are not assumed to be included with a bare pump tube.
- Use the complete nameplate designation, serial number and component item number to confirm the equipment revision and fit.
- Check the fluid, temperature, viscosity, required flow, pressure, suction conditions and connection standard for the actual application.
- Confirm all wetted materials, seals, diaphragms and other selected components against the operating conditions. A material name alone does not establish suitability.
- For replacement parts, include photographs of the old part, its assembly position and relevant dimensions.
